We're Barefoot Journeys: a boutique travel agency,
proud creators of unique, customized travel experiences. Yes we know, an unusual name for a
travel agency, but as you keep reading we'll explain our mission, promise and meaning behind
the name.
So who are we? We are a dream team in the know (about travel, food and wine).
We're passionate about detail and service and we don't want you to worry about a single
thing. Combine these and you could literally leave for your trip barefoot.
We have one simple mission - to ensure every trip away is perfect,
while we encourage and indulge your curiosity in all the different corners of the world.
We know you work extremely hard and therefore it's incredibly important to spend your
time off making lasting memories. We believe that every type of trip in your lifetime serves
a different learning opportunity and different aspects affect all travellers. We've been
there; and it's why our founders went on to create Barefoot Journeys, specializing in the
intersection of luxury and sustainability.
Our mission is to provide those tired of
mass-produced itineraries with an eccentric mix of ethical and eye-opening travel, all
crafted specifically for you.

As your personal travel advisor I get to know you and fully tailor each vacation specifically for you.
My passion is creating travel magic, wielding my curated list of global connections to create unique and authentic experiences to broaden your horizons.
I love to plan anything travel, from honeymoons, babymoons, family (and ‘family free’!) holidays, bespoke adventures, ski trips, private villa stays and so on and yet if you ask me what is the best trip I have planned, the answer is “The next one”. Service is of paramount importance to me and I always strive to make each and every trip better.
Baron Jacob
As a professional accountant by day, I spend my weekends and holidays enjoying my time with family, food and wine. Whether fishing in beautiful Cayman or enjoying the virtuoso perks and upgrades I'm guaranteed to experience a new adventure each trip all while making sure our books stay out of the red.
Isabella Jacob
Hiya everybody! My name is Isabella. Some people call me “Izzy” or “Izzy Bee”.
Honestly, I'm still not totally sure what's going on here. I wake up in all sorts of new different places. I was not even 3 months old when we took our first international vacation! My parents didn't know this at the time, but I quickly taught them that traveling with a baby is not the most difficult age to travel with, unlike my brother who is a stubborn toddler. Don't worry. They survived ;)
Dimitri Jacob
Honestly I'm still not sure what my role in the company is… but no matter where we go I am greeted with delicious amenities and I own a very well-travelled stuffed toy collection. Like come on, which 4 year old is not going to dig into an Empire State building made out of chocolate before their mum takes her Instagram worthy shot. After all, we need to live in the moment. Favorite travel memory to date - truffle hunting in Greece. It was SO much fun running in the forest with dogs, looking for truffes and we even got to cook with it after!
